New efficient GAF routing protocol using an optimized weighted sum model in WSN

<span>A wireless sensor network (WSN) composed by a large number of nodes that are insufficient in terms processing power, storage and energy. The principal tasks is gathering transmitting data collected to the base station (BS). Consequently major essential criteria for designing WSN lifetime. In this paper an efficient GAF routing protocol gathered introduced. It proposes energy-efficient based on basic version. system distributed using Gaussian law active leader elected each virtual grid reduce energy dissipated optimized weighted sum model where maximum remaining minimum distance considered. Moreover transmission range enhancing efficiency during routing. experimental results shows proposed EE-GAF produces better performance than existing optimized-GAF dead node consumption. obviously proves can improve lifetime</span>
